Designers Connect is an incorporated association which was formed in 2012 to bring together those with a passion for design. Our organization aims to promote and encourage excellence in design, promote a sense of community amongst each other and support each other in our individual pursuit of design. We wish to heighten the awareness of emerging designers, promote our talents and provide exhibition opportunities. Our group meetings provide opportunities for networking, social interaction, education and professional development for our members.

Membership is open to those who are designers or individuals who have a strong interest in design.

The group came together as a matter of course given the high number of creative people in the greater Coffs Harbour area and a core group of active people brought the group into being and formed an incorporated not for profit entity with monthly meetings and committee organization.

Going forward we would like to stage small exhibitions on a regular basis, hosting interesting speakers and generally promote this region and community in light of its abundant creative riches.
The Designers Connect membership and those who we anticipate being attracted to the group largely consist of sole traders, emerging & established businesses, educators and students who, obviously, will be entering the workforce in the near future. We aim to provide opportunities for networking, social interaction, education, and professional development for the members of our group.
